As a journalist by education, an operations manager by day and a photographer by night, the journey to this website and to writing this blog post has been nothing short of unexpected.
When I picked up a camera in May last year, I didn't set out to spend my weekends on photoshoots and evenings in Lightroom. I simply shot what I enjoyed; sharing good food and wine with those that I care about. And so, with camera in hand, I set out to capture those moments in the best way I knew how. 27 photoshoots and thousands of photos later, I present to you the results of a year of practice and creative development – a home for my photography that I hope will remain for years to come.
In the coming weeks and months, I'll be using this platform to share my observations from the hospitality industry. Whether you're a fellow photographer, chef, or a restaurant owner, I hope you'll find something here that makes a positive impact. From exploring the editing process to insider tips on booking a Michelin-starred meal in Japan, I'll be sharing it all. Don't worry, though – I'll leave the top ten lists and restaurant reviews to the professionals.
If you've made it this far, thank you for joining me on this journey. I can't wait to see where it takes us next.
Here's to the good things in life – santé!
